Expenses
Expenses are the actual costs which were necessarily made by the law firm while working on a case. There are three categories of costs:

administration costs:

file opening cost (fixed): 50 €

typing: on a flat rate basis to 11 € per page

photocopy and fax copy: 0.4 € per copy

registered letter: actual cost

incoming e-mails: 0.4 € per page

tax fee stamps: actual cost

mileage costs to courts, notaries, meetings, surveys of damage, external consultations etc.: these costs will be charged at 0.5 € per kilometer driven and include parking expenses.

judicial costs like bailiff costs and registry costs: these will be oncharged at actual cost.
Fees
The fees are the remuneration for the performances delivered by the lawyer. The fees are calculated based on a pre-agreed hourly tariff and depend on the nature and the importance of the case, the degree of specialization and experience of the lawyer and possibly on the urgency of the case. For larger projects, a man-day fee can be agreed.
